Primary Spanish teachers, have you seen our updated Scheme of Work covering KS1 and KS2?

Let’s find out how it works for you as a subscribed teacher.

Clicking on the link Index – Long Term Planning what we see first is an overview of all the levels in the Speekee Scheme of Work:

One of the levels shown above is Level 2 – Cafe (15 activities). Let’s click on that to find out more.

We are asked to sign in before the information is shown:

Here we go:

Activity 4 is called Orange juice, milk and water. For more information, we click on the link and we can see the following activity plan (shown in the image below):

Timetables – Medium Term Planning

Let’s click on the link Timetables – Medium Term Planning (shown below)

We select Create new planning timetable and give it a name:

We save the planning timetable. And here it is, shown below:

When we click on the name of our planning timetable, a list of all activities will appear down the left hand side. We simply drag and drop them into our weekly planner:

Now let’s Copy a recommended template (a pre-made planning timetable). We’ll select the first KS2 plan in the list below:

And here it is, shown below the first plan we created:

Let’s click on it and take a look. We see that all the activities have already been put in place for us (shown below). Not only this, we can modify the planning timetable as much as we like.

If we click on a Share button (shown below) we instantly share a plan of our choice with all other teachers in our school who are registered Speekee users:

We need to click on the link Dictionary (shown below)

If we want to teach a specific piece of Spanish at KS1 or KS2 levels, we look in the dictionary and choose an activity that language features in. Easy!
