1. How does Speekee work?
We use an 'accelerated' learning approach which immerses your child in Spanish at all times - primarily through video featuring real Spanish children in real Spanish locations. Spanish is learned step by step, starting with the easiest, most commonly heard Spanish first. 2. What Spanish is included?
Greetings, Introductions, Food and Drink, Transport, Weather, Time, Birthdays, Numbers, Colors, Clothes, At home, Hobbies, Days of the Week, Months, Seasons, Family, Feelings, and much more!
There are two series of videos providing a total of 10 hours of step-by-step Spanish learning. Series 2 builds on the language presented in Series 1 but it also works for children who have not been exposed to Speekee at all. Therefore we start at the beginning with the simple language you would expect, such as Hello and Goodbye in Spanish.

4. How much does Speekee cost?
A single subscription to Speekee costs $7.50 per month or €5.49 per month or €4.95 per month, depending on where you are in the world.
That single subscription gives you access to four different products: Speekee® FastTrack, Speekee® Accelerate, Speekee® TV, Speekee® Play.
The first two weeks are absolutely free and even after the free trial you can cancel at any time.
Not included in a Speekee subscription: Speekee® Scheme of Work for Schools (for primary & elementary Spanish teachers)
5. How do I sign up?
Wherever you are in the world, simply visit www.speekee.com and click on the Speekee option which best suits your child. The sign-up process is completed in a matter of seconds.
6. Do I need separate accounts if I have more than one child?
A single subscription allows access to four different Speekee products, so there's great flexibility if you want to use one subscription for more than one child. Speekee® Play monitors an individual child's progress in Spanish, so the value of one account per child is clear in this case.
7. Is my child at the right age to learn Spanish?
There's a wealth of information online about when children should start learning a foreign language. Put simply, the best time for your child to learn a second language is the same time they are learning their first one. And if that's not possible then the sooner the better. The child's brain is different from the adult's brain: it is a very dynamic structure that is constantly evolving, so it's no wonder we often refer to children as 'sponges' when it comes to language learning!
8. Do I need to be involved in my child's learning?
Speekee works best with a teacher so we encourage you, even if you have no previous teaching experience, to use our Speekee® FastTrack and/or Speekee® Accelerate programs with your child. They are designed for homeschoolers but many other parents who like to give their child a helping hand use FastTrack and Accelerate because they offer practical advice, precise and easy-to-follow lesson plans, and valuable back-up material such as worksheets and flashcards. It's easier than you think, and so much fun.

10. What happens when my child finishes learning Spanish with Speekee?
This is a question we have thought long and hard about over the years, and it's one of the reasons why we developed Speekee® Play: to allow your child to push on with their Spanish learning in a fun and challenging way. Play gives your child a platform to express themselves using the Spanish they have learned, so in a sense there is no finishing point to learning Spanish with Speekee. 'Ever evolving' would be a more accurate description!
